27M appointed as a Gazelle company

Sweden's biggest business newspaper, Dagens Industri, has elected 27M a Gazelle company 2008. A “gazelle company” is an originally an American expression for a small, fast growing company, that creates many job opportunities.

The Gazelle award means that 27M now represents one of Sweden's top 0,5 percent fastest growing companies in the country. Gazelle companies are elected every year and the following criteria must be fulfilled in order to qualify:

  • At least four annual reports must have been made public.
  • Turnover of more than 10 MSEK.
  • At least ten employees.
  • Turnover for 2008 has to be at least double the turnover for 2005. Turnover must also have increased every year for the past three years.
  • The collective operating results for the past four fiscal years must be positive.
  • Company has grown "organically" and not through mergers and/or acquisition.
  • The company must have sound finances.
